Rolling River...This is a very common scene here in Italy. This picture was actually taken in Verona, the night
that Jausch took me to the opera. Italy's landscape is graces by many, many rivers and lakes, expecially up north near
the mountains.

This is another common this that you will find in Italy...churches, everywhere! This one happens to be up north
in a little midevil town called Verzone. The town itself is actually surrounded by castle walls. This church was
breathtaking. It was so silent and surreal.

Another breathtaking moment during our trip to Germany!
Unfortunatly, we did not get a chance to go to the Winter olympics. Our schedules were just too hectic during that
time, but the olympic flame was passed by in many of the small towns around us. This is a picture of 2 Americans (military
members) who got the opportunity to carry the olympic torch. It really was something.

This is a island in the middle of a huge lake in the Alps. It is called Lake Bled and it is in Slovenia.
That country is about 2 hours from us! I went with my mom, and our friend Catherine. It is breathtaking.

This is on our trip to Germany. There was more snow there than I had ever seen in my life... and we go skiing quite
often! It was so beautiful Germany should be called the land of the trees because there so many trees there! We had
to stop many times, just to admire this beautiful scenery!

These piazza's are everywhere in Italy. This one is actually in the front of the courthouse in Florence.
The piazza's are such a tradition here in Italy, they changed the olympic medals given here in Torino for the 2006 winter
olympis to represent a piazza...with a hole int he middle.
